Why RO/DI?

Tap water often contains minerals, chlorine, and other substances that can negatively impact the delicate balance of your aquarium. Our RO/DI water is produced through a dual-filtration process:
  • Reverse Osmosis (RO): This step utilizes a semi-permeable membrane to filter out large molecules, impurities, and contaminants, leaving you with water that is substantially purer than what comes out of your tap.
  • Deionization (DI): The water then passes through a resin chamber that further removes remaining ions, ensuring the water is virtually free from any impurities.
